ABOUT

I have been told that my water colour technique is different from water colours that are usually seen by art viewers. This is probably so because my artistic experience is  untutored, and I learned everything by trial and error. The technique that evolved is one that I alone am comfortable with.

I am also not typical of many artists who mainly celebrate the colour and form of nature’s creative beauty. As an artist, I appreciate that beauty as well as anyone, but I also appreciate some of the form and colour made by man. That has become my particular subject passion, and will likely remain because there are so many beautiful subjects to paint, and so little time…

The sensuous flowing lines of a 1960s Ferrari GTO…The functional symmetry and grace of our flying machines of all vintages…

The raw beauty of a ship plowing through the waves…The colour explosion of a two-wheeled Moto GP racer. With these I attempt to convey the vivid colours and flowing shapes of man’s moving masterpieces and I have appropriately called it Dynamic Art.
